This past week, LCSS received notification from the Georgia Department of Education that Long Branch Elementary School will receive a USDA Fresh Fruits and Vegetable Program Grant for this school year. This grant program will provide a nutritious snack during the school day to help our LBES students stay focused on learning!
Congratulations to LBES and the students who will benefit from this grant, and thank you to our Director of School Nutrition, Julie Knight-Brown, for continuing to seek and provide the very best school nutrition program for our schools in Lumpkin County!
