
Early Childcare Education II students enjoyed career exploration activities today at Dahlonega Country Day. They used lessons they prepared to teach kiddos using Bat and Spider themed activities.

For the second year in a row, LCHS Theatre - The Tribe Theatre has been invited to perform for middle school students' visiting the Holly Theatre with Leisure Time Tours. They presented “US, a Teen History” FOUR times today kept their energy right up to the end!

It's Homecoming Week in Lumpkin County and even the teachers are getting in on the fun! English Teachers enjoyed Tacky Tourist earlier this week. Come out the Parade today at 4:30 PM and the Homecoming Game at 7:30 on Friday!


Mrs. Lincoln’s classes attended the Building Ethical Employability conference at UNG. Students learned about what their personality says about them in regards to their potential employability. Students learned about and practiced effective communication and critical thinking strategies. Students became aware of their unofficial resume on social media and how to keep a positive image on the net.

Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the FOURTH Habitat for Humanity house built by our students on the LCHS campus. Construction is already underway, and we look forward to seeing this fourth house finished and moved to Habitat Lane in June 2020!
