Modern Language students hosted international artist Jacqueline Nilsen today. Mrs. Nilsen brought her Paint the Music program and students generated art through movement with Latin rhythms. It was a blast and we accidentally ended up with amazing art!

HOSA is very thankful for the faculty and staff at LCHS. Today HOSA members chose a special faculty educator/staff member to honor by inviting them to a breakfast. HOSA students honored each guest with a heartfelt speech, breakfast, and a rose.





Lumpkin County FFA had a great day at the Georgia Farm Bureau Cattle Show! It sure is nice to have an FFA that represents our county and school system so well! Thank you, Chip Bridges and Greg Murray, for all you do.

LCES and LBES 5th Graders traveled to LCHS today to see the one-act play, Freaky Friday! Thank you to Ms. Quigley and the Tribe Theatre program for inspiring future actors! Come out to see this show Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night at 7 PM!





Lumpkin Youth Leadership spent their day with Mrs. Hunsinger learning about the importance of setting good goals and using appropriate strategies to make decisions.

LCHS was honored to have EmiSunshine share her talent in the form of a mini-concert followed by a Q/A for our students today. EmiSunshine is an up and coming 15-year-old artist from East Tennessee who has shared a stage with notable musicians such as Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson.

LCHS hosted the Ministerial Association and LC Religious Leaders for lunch today. After their meeting, local ministers toured LCHS to see first-hand what students are learning and experiencing everyday!
