LCHS hosted the state-wide PROBE College Fair Tour and had 45 different colleges on campus for our students. Students had the opportunity to explore these different colleges, speak with admissions representatives, and learn more about available programs and career paths.




Our Teaching As A Profession students regularly visit the daycare and PreK to provide instruction to the students. We are grateful for our partnership with the faculty and students there!



Today the Indians honored the veterans of Lumpkin County. We are grateful for their service and sacrifice.

Students met with local entrepreneurs asked a panel dozens of questions, and presented their own shark tank type plans.

Erin Endicott, the Teaching As A Profession instructor at LCHS, served on a panel at the National Forum to Advance Rural Education this past week in Savannah, Georgia. This meeting included educators, researchers, policymakers and philanthropic leaders from 48 states.




Our JROTC, Healthcare and Automotive programs worked together on our annual Mass Evacuation activity today. JROTC cadets worked to secure the scene, Healthcare students triaged the "wounded" and provided care while our automotive classes served as "casualties". Teamwork was definitely the theme for this learning experience.

We had a great trip to Phoenix Air. It’s fun when programs can come together and collaborate with a business that employs healthcare professionals and
Aviation mechanics. Phoenix air travels the world in top quality planes to save American citizens. Our students had the opportunity to see this in person today. Huge thank you to Jesse Turk and Phoenix Air for having us tour their airport!


In Ms. Phillips Marketing Principles class, students are looking at the importance of company logos/branding. Students did a blind taste test and also looked at the differences in brand packaging and pricing between the name brand vs. generic brands.
