The forms are due back to BES no later than Friday, October 2. Please return them to your child’s homeroom teacher and she will make sure the nurse receives all forms. 2)Framed art work that has been ordered is here at Blackburn. Classlinks All Call Good afternoon, parents and guardians. This is Betsy Green, principal at BES with an important informational message. Our school has a single sign on program this year called Classlinks. You have to be signed in to Classlinks to view emails and all school apps, even Google Classroom. This is different from previous years and if you try to logon using old passwords and programs, you will be unsuccessful. So, please talk to your child about how to access classlinks. The link is on our school webpage under menu, then student links. It is the only option. Thank you and enjoy your evening.
𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗖𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 We need your help in updating your information in Infinite Campus. This is a very important task that less than 25% of you have completed for this school year. Please login to your Campus portal: https://tinyurl.com/LCCampus For step-by-step instructions: https://tinyurl.com/LCInfoUpdate If you have trouble completing this step, please call your child's school and ask to speak to the registrar. #𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 #𝑭𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅

TR1BE, With so much uncertainty remaining as we navigate our days, weeks, and months, we know that many questions are swirling concerning the plans of our upcoming school year. We could put out a plan today that would likely need to change multiple times as health concerns and guidance changes over time. We are not behind the eight ball. Rather, we are taking things seriously, studying our options, and formulating research-based plans of action for the new school year. Our leadership team in Lumpkin County is currently meeting through email, virtually, and in person to work out details for the following areas: student and staff wellness, facilities, technology, school nutrition, transportation, instruction, assessment, and virtual learning. These focus groups will work in coordination with our school board to publish a final plan in mid-July. In the meantime, it’s important for you all to know this—student safety has been, is, and always will be our top priority in Lumpkin County. As parents, you will have a face-to-face option and a virtual option for your children. What those look like will be determined by the findings of our focus groups over the next month. Rest assured, we are working tirelessly to provide the best education in the safest environment possible for your children. We know other school systems are posting their tentative plans now, and we want you to know that we aren’t asleep on this topic. We like to take a calculated, strategic approach to our planning process. If you have questions or concerns that you would like to share with any of the focus groups mentioned above, please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be sure to pass along your correspondence to the focus group leader. Thank you for your continued support of Lumpkin County Schools!
